You Have Questions; We Have Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What information do I need to provide?

You’re asked to fill out forms before meeting with a doctor in a doctor’s office and we have a similar process. Total Snooze works with medical offices to get contact, insurance, and other information before and during your treatment plan to determine what your needs are. This information is managed by your doctors and will help those offices provide insurance estimates/compatibility and appropriate sleep care. The difference is we try to streamline that information. You fill it out once and our doctors will ensure you land in the right place with the right paperwork.

Why do I have to see a medical doctor?

When it comes to health and sleep devices, you should always see a licensed medical professional to ensure you’re being treated for the correct condition and to make sure you have an appropriate treatment plan. Whether you go through insurance or not, please make sure you’re working with someone qualified to fit the device properly, especially since it impacts breathing.

Can I order a device without seeing a medical professional?

We believe that the best sleep is tied to holistic healthcare. Total Snooze only works with licensed medical professionals. For your safety and to ensure you’re getting the proper treatment you need, we require you see a licensed medical professional.

Do you take my insurance?

We work with a team of trusted physicians. We ask that you submit your insurance information before you meet with doctors, so we can see what your insurance requires and if it is covered. We then provide you with our best price estimate, based on your insurance provider. If you’re comfortable with the coverage, you can schedule your first appointment on your journey toward improved sleep. Many of our partners do accept Medicare.

How much does it cost?

We have to understand your diagnosis and payment/insurance plan before we can answer that question; however, you’ll get an estimate via your doctor before you book your first appointment and once a treatment plan, as applicable, has been set up. We want you to know what to expect every step of the way, so we do our best to keep you informed as soon as we understand what treatment you need. Please note that only medical professionals provide diagnosis and treatment plans, so we’ll defer to them on the details to ensure your privacy. All payments will go directly to your treatment provider.

How long does it take to get a sleeping device?

Your treatment plan depends on your sleep condition and your appointment availability/schedule; however, most devices are ordered within two weeks of your first appointment. That’s a lot quicker than scheduling months out with each doctor and medical office!

I already have sleep apnea. Can I use Total Snooze?

Yes! We understand that CPAP devices may not work for everyone. If you’re already diagnosed, we can work with you to see if there are other device options. Please note that we do not recommend any devices without supplemental physician care, so you’ll still need to consult with one of our specialized licensed medical professionals to make sure a new device will work with your sleep apnea. The good news is that the process will be quick and we’ll work with you to ensure best practices to meet insurance needs.

Can I go straight to one of your medical partners instead of using Total Snooze?

Yes! Our goal at Total Snooze is to act as your sleep guide. We have built a trusted network of sleep professionals who work with Total Snooze to make your process easier. We start with your “in-take” form for your sleep doctor who will meet with you to discuss what is going on. Depending on your test, symptoms, and diagnosis, we will make sure your records make it to the appropriate medical facility and help you schedule follow-up appointments. Because of this partnership, we’re able to get you booked, scheduled, and sleeping better in much less time than if you were trying to locate your own specialists. We’re guides to make your treatment journey convenient, fast, and affordable. Of course, if you choose to work with other providers or go directly to our network, we understand. Ultimately, our goal is to help you live a healthier life through better sleep.
